When Words Fail

There comes a time,
For everyone,
When words fail.

When you crave for seclusion,
For you can’t speak,
About the things you’ve been longing to.

Don’t be scared my friend,
It happens to everyone,
That you are unable to explain,
And to express.

It’s not like you don’t want to,
It’s not like you enjoy it,
You detest it.
And I, I know that.

But you’re not alone in the struggle,
There are others like you.

Some stronger, some weaker,
But all fighting for words.

It’s then, that you realise,
Sometimes, Silence might bring two souls closer.

It’s then that you fathom,
That verbalization is not the link,
For when words fail,
The heart can bridge the gap deftly and perfectly.
